Q: Would the event be strictly physical only?

A: This event will be held in hybrid mode where participants can choose either physical or online. Participants are allowed to attend the physcial event or attend the event via online. However, if the amount of participants are more than 40, due to the limited capacity of the computer lab for workshops (maximum 40 people per lab), some participants will enter another computer lab and join the session online. Participants who join online will be aided by our workshop assistants,
and questions will be directed to the workshop instructor physically if there are any issues.

Q: What if I have a specific food preferences?

A: Please do note that down in the registration form as we aim to provide the best to all the participants of the event.

Q: Can I register if I am non-Malaysian?

A: This event is open to all Malaysians and non-Malaysians studying in Malaysia.​

Q: Am I required to bring a laptop ?
A: Desktop computers will be provided in the lab for the workshops, but participants are encouraged to bring their own devices.

Q: Once the payment has been made, is it refundable?
A: No, the payment is not refundable. 

​

Q: Can I join if I'm not a bioinformatics student?
A: Yes, anyone with basic knowledge of IT or biology are welcomed to join.

Q: How do we make the payment?
A: Payment is required to be made during registration. The payment can be made through online banking and the proof of payment is to be included in the registration form.

Q: Will I receive a certificate after attending this symposium?
A: Yes, you will receive your E-Certificate via email, only if you attend all talks and workshops as we need to take attendance for each session.
