About
Malaysian Youth Bioinformatics Symposium 7.0 (MYBS 7.0) is an event organized by Multimedia University (MMU), Melaka. This event marks the seventh edition of the event.
Bioinformatics is an interdisciplinary field that combines both biology and information technology (IT). The field of bioinformatics is still relatively new in Malaysia and we are doing our part to promote the development of bioinformatics.
The objective of this event is to gather Malaysian students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, involved in the field of bioinformatics, to give them a broader exposure to the field and provide networking opportunities. Besides, this event aims to promote the field of bioinformatics to students of other fields, as well as the public.
